Come to LISA!

I don’t post here often, but this one is important. Make your reservations for LISA, now! Don’t miss the early registration deadline, it’s coming up soon and can save your organization significant money and increase your chances of getting to go!

LISA is in Boston. Nevermind the weather, Boston is a great town and the conference hotel is a nice place. Tom and I are really proud of the conference that the we, Usenix, and the program committee have put together. We know that you will like it too.

LISA is a great chance to refresh on what’s current, get to know what’s new, and to rub elbows with all levels of peers up to the revered experts who have written the books. Do you have a particular problem? Chances are that there’s someone at LISA that has solved it, and you will run into them. This can pay for the conference with just one chance 5 minute encounter. You also get the opportunity to re-enginerize with new ideas, techniques, and contacts. Even the vendor floor can provide valuable contacts for technologies that you wanted to explore some more but were previously distracted by other things.

There are so many reasons to attend! Don’t delay!
