So a while back I moved to an Epic 4G phone. It is more of a computer that also does phone stuff than a phone that does computer stuff. Since it is a computer, I wanted to see if I could use it like a computer. My eyes are still good enough to read the small screen, but the keyboard (soft and slide out) were just not hacking it. I got a Freedom pro keyboard and can safely say this combo can replace my laptop for short periods. I use connectbot for ssh, k9 for email, and pocket cloud for rdp. In fact I wrote this blog post in a few minutes with this combo.
BTW, if you search on connectbot and this keyboard you will see lots of questions about how to get ctrl-c and esc to work. The work around I use is to install the custom epic version of connectbot and then touch the screen to access ctrl or esc. Not perfect , but it works and is faster than other input options.
