I have been having a lot of problems with $vendor (contact point is named Steve) who sold me a system that does not work well via a local VAR. I have been very happy with the local VAR (contact is Bob) and am even more happier after the following phone conversation:
Ski: Hello this is Ski
Bob: Hi Steve, I am really upset about NSD customer problems
Ski: Huh, I am the customer.
Bob: Well what are you going to do about it?
Ski: But I am the customer.
Bob: This cannot continue.
Ski: Bob, this is Ski not Steve
Bob: dead silence
Bob: You are Ski, not Steve?
Ski: Yes, I think you dialed the wrong number, but I do appreciate you standing up for me.
